About Us

Iridium for Life is a Health and Wellness Centre operating as a multi disciplinary 'Community of Practice' in West End close to the heart of Brisbane City.

Activities are designed to assist clients regain and maintain health, manage chronic diseases and ongoing medical conditions. Activities include fitness, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal pain, weight management, nutrition, performance, mental health, stress management, relaxation and wellness.

Our staff and associated allied health professionals are fully trained in their chosen field and provide personal service to maximise results. The qualifications of our fitness and health professionals include:

· Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement Studies/Exercise Science)

· Accredited Pilates Instructors

· Diabetes Australia Queensland Member

· RESET your life! Accredited Facilitator

· Work Cover Providers

· Bachelor Dietetics & Nutrition (Hons)

· Accredited Sports Dietitians (APD)

· Diploma Remedial Massage

· Masters in Psychology

Our practitioners are members of their applicable professional associations.

The Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) is the peak body representing dietetic and nutrition professionals.

The Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is the peak body representing the interests of Exercise Physiologists.

Registered Health Funds

Iridium practitioners are registered with many health funds and Medicare, Department of Veterans Affairs and Workcover Queensland. Please consult your private health insurer for more information on your level of cover and the availablity of benefits at Iridium. Please contact Iridium if you require assistance.

Iridium has HICAPS facilities in place and clients can claim certain health fund rebates on site immediately after your consultation or activity.

Iridium's Practice Manager - Christina McCormick
	Christina is responsible for the day to day management and running of Iridium business which includes initial client introduction and staff mentoring. Christina is client focussed and will ensure that the staff at Iridium meet the special needs of our valued clients ensuring their visit is memorable. We are very careful about the selection of practitioners to work at Iridium. Not only is it important for Iridium practitioners to provide quality care and service to our diverse range of clients, but it is equally important for us to be confident that a practitioner will fit in with the existing group of health professionals. With the right mix of people, we can build opportunities for cross referrals between practitioners so that Iridium maintains its place as a leading one stop health and wellness centre.
